Our testing supports arson investigations.
Testmark has been providing analytical testing to arson investigators for over 25 years. Our analytical methods and data support the investigative process by confirming if accelerants are present in fire debris samples. Our extensive library of chemical fingerprints enables us to narrow down the accelerant used. Our team is also experienced in providing expert technical testimony within the Canadian court system.
Beyond arson investigations, Testmark provides general forensic analytical services for a wide range of environmental applications. This includes investigations related to chemical plume migration, and point-source identification of organic, microbiological and inorganic contaminants in water, soil or air.
